Show case of Pointis architecture and architecture of the 60s

The location with sea view! Retro design of Ponti is a showcase of the architecture of the 60s

The lighting in the corridors. Like a hospital! So pity because there is nice art on some walls, but it doesn’t add much because of the cold “hospital” lighting. The carpets in the corridors are warn down, should be replaced with new ones.

Exceptional

Original Gio Pont stylings were wonderful and we had a splendid room with sea view. Hotel was in beautiful grounds in a great cliffside location. Staff were unfailingly friendly and respectful. Lift down through the cliff to the private beach was great.

Everything was great and would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic design-led hotel in a stunning location

The location is perfect. Beautiful view overlooking the sea. Incredible sunset. We love sitting having a well-made cocktail in the evening. We love the design. It’s a Gio Ponti museum and should be listed! It’s our 3rd time staying here & we stay here because we love the design so much. The breakfast selection is wonderful as is the restaurant view. The pool and poolside is beautiful. We like the walk into Sorrento, yes it’s busy but you can walk on pavement most of the way. It takes about 20/25 minutes but we enjoy the stroll. Great pizza/pasta restaurant around the corner if you want to stay local.

Our only criticism this year is that we were looking forward to dinner in the restaurant as it was superb last year but this year they were doing a tasting menu which was expensive and took 2.5 hours plus. It was pleasant enough for one night but it meant we didn’t want to eat in the restaurant again during our stay. Please re-consider this for your guests!

OMG the views. You can’t beat the location and the sunsets

The location and the views and loved that we had access to our own private beach. The pool and gardens were beautiful

The rooms and bathrooms are dated. It is a 5 star resort with 5 star prices therefore I would expect nicer/newer and more modern fit out. The onsite restaurants and drinks were very pricey.

Great hotel, wonderfully scenic location - we plan to go back!

Stunning grounds, wonderful location, extremely helpful staff, comfortable room.

Hot food at breakfast wasn’t hot! Restaurant and bar menu needed more simple dinner options (pizza, for example). Walk into Sorrento became a bit onerous!

View was amazing, breakfast was good and dinner was exquisite. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit old but still didn’t bother me that much. feels like being in a vintage movie.

Enjoyable stay in a designer hotel.

Lovely room with a great view. Set in beautiful gardens. Breakfast excellent. The hotel has an amazing and interesting history.

Location is a bit out of town (30 mins walk) - and not much immediately around in terms of dining / shopping.

Loved it and hated to leave . Very comfortable pillows and bed. Beautiful gardens.

Breakfast was fantastic and staff throughout the hotel were wonderful. Rosita in the dining room was especially sweet.

Maybe shuttle to town more often and pickup area a little more descriptive. Across from the Radical bar that was not lit up was difficult to find . But other than that all good .

A fabulous place to stay in a great location, only a short walk 15 - 20 minutes from the centre of Sorrento.

Absolutely superb rooms with really comfortable beds. The hotel was exceptional in every area. The view from the dining room was stunning. Fabulous gardens and patio too. All of the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful in every respect.

We’re gonna host our wedding here - very happy with the place though management/owners need to take care of quality

Location, architecture, beach, pool, lunch menus, personnel, cleanliness, comfort and simplicity.

Dinner menu (too complicated and disbalanced flavors and combinations - italy doesnt need fine dining as it already has the perfect simple food). Carpets need love. Staff is lovely but at times not helpful or forgets stuff. We stayed here 10 days so we had time to examine everything. Toiletries are bad quality for such a fantastic hotel so we had to buy outside.
